Mayor Steve Womack touted the city's positive financial picture in his recent state of the city address, calling Rogers "the economic center of influence in Northwest Arkansas."
Womack noted the city's ability to pay off bonds, build infrastructure and support new city services, including the new Adult Wellness Center, while maintaining an annual budget of $27.9 million in the city's general fund and building reserve funds to $13 million.
